This mosaic is in the form of a triptych and is based around an image from a 15th century italian altarpiece. It was painted by giovanni di paolo, and represents a garden of paradise in a visionary style. The three panels are constructed on a wooden base, and the mosaic is constructed primarily from glass tiles, beads and polymer clay. The back is painted in acrylic, and the edges finished with metallic wax. The overall size is approxiately 37 x 20 x 1 cm (14 1/2 x 8 x 1/4 inches).

The sections are attached with brass hinges, and the piece is designed to stand, rather than be wall mounted. This item is made of glass tiles and glass beads, polymer clay, glass cabochons, swarowski crystal, chain, jewellery findings, collage, paint, wax, varnish, wood, brass.
