Global folk ceramic mosaic wall art framed in vintage indian cheese molds - scallop. We like the warmth that the wood of these vintage indian cheese molds lends when combined with a selection of our stoneware tiles custom-fit to each inset. We love mixing up different patterns and textures here. We chose to show these packed in tight in a vertical arrangement, but could be hung horizontally or spread out or mixed in with your own artwork to create an impactful and interesting gallery wall set. We think these play well with a wall-mounted flatscreen television wall composition without adding distraction and are the perfect answer to a humid bathroom space.
They can also sit flat on a long tabletop to create a unique centerpiece. Use them with other pieces in our global folk series. Or with some of our stick minis.
Or mix them up with your own artwork to create a custom gallery wall composition - easy way to add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral decor. We hand-carve these bold patterns into raw stoneware clay then bisque fire, glaze them with our favorite palette of bright colors, fire them again, and then for some, add bits of semiprecious stones and grout to add another layer of interest and texture. This artwork is mounted and ready to hang either vertically or horizontally or can sit flat on a tabletop.
Semiprecious stones used in this artwork are cultured pearl. Each piece is a handcrafted one-of-a-kind piece.
Our pictures represent a close color palette of the glazed stoneware and semiprecious stones as well as the typical shape and size variations.
